Maaan, landlords and estate agencies have been screwing me around like crazy this month (and the end of last month, really). Me and my friends chose a new house ages ago, months ago, to move into. Not until the day before the tenancy of our old house about to end does the guy at the estate agency call and say we might not be able to get the house actually. It was a thing of like... The landlord wanted to sell it to different landlords and those different landlords were gonna be the ones to rent it to us and stuff. Those different landlords backed out of the sale last minute and the estate agency guy had to figure out if the new landlord would still be down to rent it out to us. Nope, they gave it to a family instead.

So me and my friends now had to do stuper quick house viewings with some other agencies and thankfully we get a viewing with a nice ass house that has a spare bedroom and its in a pretty decent location. Move in gets pushed back by like, pretty much 2 weeks from what we were originally gonna do (so i only moved in there 2 days ago) and I think the landlord wants us to pay rent from mid July but whatever. I think this is bullshit because the house still isn't finished and we have builders in there from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday and its so dusty and paint is everywhere, I've developed a cough. Like...? And on top of that we're not allowed to use the spare bedroom even though we pay the same rent as if there were 6 of us. The landlord said we could use it for an extra monthly fee of £250 and we were like meh nah and then he said actually how about £200 HUH? Like how are you haggling with us on this? Idk it made it feel hellaaa scammy to me.

Being at home for so long with no room has drained me so bad and killed all my creativity. I feel honestly depressed right now, not insanely bad but just really off compared to my usual self. I also graduated last week so maybe that isn't helping. I just feel so unsettled because of all this house stuff and I just don't want to do anything. Also don't have wifi in the new house, posting this from a coffee shop lol. And sorry penpals, I haven't replied yet because of above reasons.
